A Poem from Cornwall

Created by Mick 2 years ago
A small contribution from Cornwall:

Her name is Carole, and to Honkers she did come,
To wed the Murph, who was not long done,
With his quest,
To cause unrest,
In the Dragons lair,
Of Tianamen Square,
And so they were blessed on the shores of Wanchai,
Witnessed by us all, as they both said 'aye',
And thence began that wonderful union,
That was to bring Leslie and Lizzie into their loving communion.
From the WRAC she did stem, to grip this young staff clerk,
And credit to her, his transition then to Int shark.
But after a while Civvy St beckoned,
(God alone knows if its what they reckoned),
Carole to flowers, and loads of vases.
Murph to training,  loads of bad'asses,
To nest in Carlton, and to do what Carole does best,
To love her family, their friends, and the rest.
It’s a long time since Honkers, but this Green Jacket really must say,
That Carole and Mick have been our friends, to this very day.
