Carol what can I say ………………. She can turn her hand to anything, talk to anyone and make everyone feel special.
I have many years of fond memories working alongside Carol, both delivering skating camps with Lesley as a youngster (Carol always helping out to support………… that’s organising the camps not participating in the ice skating!) Volunteering tirelessly to support the NIC team deliver all the skating events over the years, her fantastic flower arrangements for every skating event we ever held at the NIC (very good with the flower arranging, not so good walking on the carpets to get to the flowers! I remember that terrible fall when Carol was trying to do a triple axel off the red carpet in her shoes!!) and of course doing any task that was asked of her when working in the box office at the NIC. She’d deal with any dodgy customers (Panthers fans included!) and support any staff members to help them deliver what was needed to get the job done. Carol would work any hours, anytime to help out, support the team and keep the NIC wheels turning.
Just a huge thank you for me you’re one in a million Carol and I still miss you helping out around the NIC.
